Americans can control gas prices better than Senators
Hey America,

If you really want to lower the price of gasoline, then conserve.
Drive less. Drive slower. Get smaller cars. You must keep doing this when gas prices go down.

One more thing. Space it out. Drive with a huge buffer between you and the
other cars. This will cause less accidents and keep traffic flowing better.
If all vehicles did this, we could limit crashes and speed up traffic by
gowing slower.

1. space it out?
That will NEVER fly in Atlanta of Los Angeles. Spacing it out just gives the morons leeway to jump in and out of lanes, causing potential accidents.

2. Good advice atomic-fly
However I can imagine you will hear from lots of big city folks who will tell you that it isn't feasible because if they slow down they will be a traffic hazard.

3. Drive Less, Only Driving to and from work now and kids appointments
There is no public transportation in my area, the road I would have to travel if riding a bicycle are too dangerous and I live 8 miles from work.

Drive Slower, that only works to a point.

Get smaller cars, many Americans are not in the position to trade or purchase a new vehicle. I was considering a new vehicle when the fuel price crunch broadsided the economy. I will have to keep driving my old cars for a few more years.

You can only conserve so much with the current technology

4. Wow, and BIG OIL controls them better than either of these two, by, oh, maybe 1000 times.
Obviously, we have no control AT ALL.
I just say $4.30 a gallon yesterday. If I drive slow today, will that go down tomorrow?
