Will we continue to go along with...

Belonging to a group is critical to human survival. Working together is critical to us socially and economically. Whether it’s a gang, a church or a business organization, we are tribal in nature. But what happens when that group is co-opted; taken over by a sociopath or a few? Do we stand up to them or do we go along?

I’m reading “Political Ponerology”, a science on the nature of evil adjusted for political purposes” from Andrew M. Lobaczewski.

I want to herald this book far and wide, for everyone, at some point in their lives, is subjected to the infection of the actions of individuals who have no conscience. Sociopaths injure us when they wing their way through our lives as individuals, but when they rise to the top and control the lives of huge populations, the price to humanity is enormous.

The corruption of our Constitution is a result of a group of people (lawmakers) willing to go along with... just about anything, as long as they’re safe and have a free pass. Their papers are always in order!

And this has been aided by a people too frightened to make a move without the blessings of their higher (government) authority.

Political Ponerology takes evil out of the realm of the God/Satan paradigm and studies it with as much objectivity as possible while still being part of an infected population. Understanding the nature of evil is crucial to healing ourselves, our country, and our world.
