frantically trying to shut him up... hahaha... If and when we ever get a candidate to get at this old fool, they should be able to bury him on these kinds of slips.

7. That doesn't upset a lot of people, believe it or not.
I heard some right wing idiot say "can you think of a better reason?" Gawd.

19. Yup. I was talking about my disgust of going to war over oil,
and they said "can you think of a better reason? We have to have gas and can't allow some tinpot dictator to stifle the oil supply". I was simply shocked.

Yeah at least they're finally admitting it. I just sent the link to my brother (recent die hard Republican vowing to vote obama in Indiana). I will turn him forever to the path of righteousness :D

17. Gee, when we said that back in February 2003 . . .
I remember quite clearly that we were dismissed as "naive" to think that this whole magilla was just about oil. And that was one of the nicer things I and thousands of other demonstrators in the streets was called.

So, what should McCain be called? "Straight Talking." I knew that one.

20. Oh yeah..
he was already enroute to his next stop, when the reporter questioned the campaign "did he just say what I think he said," (Dana Bash) and they put a screeching halt on everything, and he said he meant "the first Bush war in Kuwait." But then later on CNN a surrogate for him was telling Matthews he meant because our oil consumption is tied to the middle east, blah blah freakin' blah. He was laughing as he was spinning because the democratic analyst was making fun of the absurdity of his explanation. Good he can laugh about it, I guess.
