On his radio show yesterday, Fox News host John Gibson made fun of Air America host/MSNBC analyst Rachel Maddow, playing a clip that says "Ooh, lesbians! Yummy!" after airing audio of her discussing media coverage of Jeremiah Wright. Maddow is a lesbian.

Gibson came under public attack after mocking Heath Ledger's death on his radio show in January.

bejesus, I wish these people would wear a sign or something so I can tell who's who. Rachel has frequently mentioned her partner, and has referred to herself as "gay" on the radio. But never on MSNBC, that I'm aware of.

I wonder if Gibson could get fired by FAUX if he was caught listening to Air America at work?

's sexual orientation. What somebody does in their private time doesn't really concern or matter to me. She gives fantastic analysis, and has proven that she is the best female commentator on tv these days (with all due apologies to Elizabeth Hasselbeck... snark). If someone can provide accurate and enlightening discussion, then they could have 8 arms sprouting from their chest and I wouldn't care.
