Iron man (and a few spoilers)
we went to watch the movie today, and were pleasantly surprised, or at least I was

Not only was it a fun movie

So if you want to just have a good time go for it... but....

As any other Stan Lee production there were nuggets here and there that were ahem, highly critical of the status quo

His most overt and obvious hits (yes there were several) were against the military industrial complex

Hell, at one point there is a CLEAR AS DAY reference to Ike's warning... even if it last less than five seconds and truly you need to know what you are looking for

So this should be a good point to start discussing this with even your RW friend (no longer have any of those), that also likes comics

3. Tony is heading to an awards banquet, and walks by a man
surrounded by women, and says "Hef!" He turns around and it's Stan Lee

5. Awesome movie
ranks up there with my favorite comic book films, X2, X-Men, Batman Begins, Spiderman 2, Rocketeer, & The Crow. Great cast all the way around. The next one will rock even harder with War Machine probably playing a part. For those that left before the end credits were over (BIG mistake)...never fear, Cheap Trick is here. See a taste of what you missed. Hurry, because it may not be around for long:
