Thoughts on this LTTE that appeared in the local paper today? (Re: Limbaugh & Denver riots)

This little gem was in the local right-wing rag today:

Upon seeing the cartoon of Rush (Limbaugh) calling for riots at the Democratic Party Convention in Denver, I must ask why someone would create this cartoon with absolutely incorrect information, and why a publication would print it without checking on its correctness. If you listen to his broadcast, you can hear him reiterate that his Operation Chaos does not call for riots. For another look at reality, Google “recreate 68.” Today I got 275,000 hits. There is a huge effort to organize protests like those at the 1968 convention in Chicago, which is noted for its riots. I don’t think the Republicans have the talent to organize anything like this.

BTW, Rush said that riots in Denver would insure the election of repukes and that was the best thing that could happen for the country. So, claiming that he didn't call for riots is pure bullshit.

He flat-out SAID that people should riot, and that it would be the best thing for the country. He did say that. So what did the cartoonist supposedly lie about????

I would believe in the possibility of spontaneous riots at the GOP convention before I would believe in planned GOP riots at the Dem convention.

I just don't understand what riots at the Dem convention are supposed to accomplish.
