CIA Agent put in handcuffs and left on the road to die

Don Clark's Big Lie About Roland Carnaby
May. 6th, 2008 at 6:10 PM

On April 29, 2008, Roland Carnaby was shot down in the street by the Houston Police Department. The capital crime he committed was running from the cops after a traffic stop.

When stopped the first time, it's claimed that Carnaby produced ID identifying him as a CIA agent. The offficer was told by his superiors that the ID was fake. The officer was also told to find a reason to arrest Carnaby. This brings up question number one: if the ID was fake, why did the cops need to find a reason to arrest him? Impersonating a federal official is already a crime.

At this point Carnaby, a man with a stellar reputation (he was president of the Houston chapter of the Association of Intelligence Officers), drove away from the traffic stop and attempted to call his contacts in the Houston Police Department and the FBI. Having no luck with that, he kept driving while the cops chased him through Houston.

Apparently Carnaby's vehicle was disabled by the police in some manner or another or he just stopped. This point's a little unclear. What is clear is that the police were enraged and attempted to smash the front passenger window after the vehicle stopped. Carnaby was shot in the back while exiting the vehicle and then shot again in the chest by another officer. He was put in handcuffs and left on the road to die.

.........................

let's see who Don Clark is.

According to Clark's bio that was released when he went to work for Sharp Technology, Clark managed the FBI's investigation of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. He was also in charge of the investigation of Achille Lauro attack in which Leon Klinghoffer was killed. He coordinated and managed the investigation and prosecution of the dragging death of James Byrd, Jr. in Jasper, Texas and he was in charge of the investigation and coordination to locate FBI’s top-10 fugitive and accused “Railcar Killer” Rafael Resendes Ramirez.

3. He certainly would have
Because Bourne knows he's dead where he stands if any LEOs get their hands on him. It sounds like this was a tad more murky, and may have been a surprise to the poor guy.

As the author pointed out, if this is what they do to their inside members, what will they do to us?

15. Thousands of people are employed at the CIA
Joe Wilson was a CIA employee. So was his wife (until she was outed by this administration). This is a guy that you know nothing about yet you have no problem with his death because he was employed by the CIA like thousands of other people? I have no more words for you, this is just insane.

20,000 people work for the CIA. I guess to you they are all guilty? Is Joe Wilson guilty? Is valarie plame?

34. Please do.
I would like a blow by blow in vivid detail of CIA activities. I actually know some of the worst. However, some people are able to retain their humanity, and because this guy was targeted, I believe he may have been one of those individuals who posed a threat.

11. The video looks like a Hit to me ...the man was assasinated
these police didn't follow protocol
It looks to me like they were out to kill him from the get go

the protocol is to pull behind him guns drawn and ask him hands over head to get out of the car

not rush up and slam the window

this looks like an assasination of a CIA agent

Its just another piece in the puzzle where I believe the US Government is in the midst of a civil war

in a Civil war brother fights brother

we are getting so very close if not there already

25. Mystery widens in case of ‘CIA operative’ gunned down by police (11 News / 1 May)
12:24 PM CDT on Thursday, May 1, 2008
By Shern-Min Chow & Jeremy Desel / 11 News

... 11 News found blogs that have now been deleted but are archived by the search engine Google.

One caught our eye: "One of the CIA's former counter-terrorism chiefs and pioneers in covert operations, Roland Carnaby retires,” the posting read.

The posting was created in February and saved by Google in March.

It continued: "The departure of Mr. Carnaby, 52, would mean the loss of the CIA's most experienced, talented and high profile clandestine officers in management" ...

agent or not, the victim was a part of some shadowy operations in the past...this smells like a hit, pure and simple...

did they release the names of the officers involved? i haven't seen it in any of the stories i've read, even though that is standard procedure in most departments....To get real tinfoil-y, i wonder if real cops were even involved in this....

26. I've followed the story in Houston. He seems for real, a legit CIA asset.
Edited on Thu May-08-08 03:58 AM by TexasObserver
The Houston police appear to have gunned him down on the side of the road, the west loop, near Woodway. They allege he looked like he was trying to reach into the car for something. The whole story doesn't make sense, but at the core of it, I'd guess some Houston police officers got their egos in a twist, and ended up killing a guy that pissed them off. Turns out, he was a legit intel guy, and now we'll see where the case goes.
