3. A little more meat from the article:
"While we deem the DoD’s policy unethical and perhaps illegal, we also question whether the analysts and the networks are potentially equally culpable pursuant to the sponsorship identification requirements in the Communications Act of 1934 and the rules of the Federal Communications Commission,” the pair (Rangel and DeLauro) wrote Martin.

“When seemingly objective television commentators are in fact highly motivated to promote the agenda of a government agency, a gross violation of the public trust occurs," they said. "The American people should never be subject to a covert propaganda campaign but rather should be clearly notified of who is sponsoring what they are watching."

This investigation SO needs to happen.

In the meantime I'm bracing for the unending MSM assault on the next Democratic president over little stupid crap.

7. Brilliant comment - Kevin Martin Chairman of FCC used to work for Bush/Cheney Campaign

Chairman
Kevin J. Martin

Before joining the FCC, Martin was a Special Assistant to the President for Economic Policy. He served on the Bush-Cheney Transition Team and was Deputy General Counsel for the Bush campaign. Prior to joining the campaign, Martin was an advisor to FCC Commissioner Harold Furchtgott-Roth. He has also served in the Office of the Independent Counsel and worked as an associate at the Washington, DC law firm of Wiley, Rein & Fielding. Before joining Wiley, Rein & Fielding, Martin was a judicial clerk for U.S. District Court Judge William M. Hoeveler, Miami, FL.

You can send him an email here:

8. That was one of my first thoughts
Until the FCC is cleaned up, which won't happen without an Obama presidency, no meaningful investigation or work will take place.
