I would just like to thank George Bush for all that he has done for my family.
I'm serious.

I am so sick of reading the Bush bashing -- "he is so stupid, he is an idiot, he is clueless...". Many of you are so consumed with your hatred of this fine person that you cannot see what he has done for your family. If you could, you would be thanking him, too!

Because of this kind, caring person and the generous gift of the money we are about to receive...I am going to be able to put food on my family, shoes on their feet, and clothes on their backs. There may even be a little left over to top off the tank in the family truckster! I cannot tell you how excited I am about that! Yes -- he truly is a generous man.

Because of this man, my children have learned that honesty is not always the best policy. In learning this, my wife and I are hoping that our children will grow up lying, cheating, and stealing to become the best 'Merkuns that they are capable of being. Hopefully, they will one day be rich like the Bush family -- and it doesn't matter how they get there just so long as they do. As parents, we tried to teach our children that it didn't matter if you won or lost -- it was how you played the game that counted. Well, we now see the error of our ways and we have George Bush to thank for it.

Because of this man, my children are going to learn the meaning of hard work! They will have opportunities that my wife and I never had...and for that, we are grateful. My son may get the chance to be drafted into the service of his country -- to serve his country proudly in a foreign land that we are occupying. I never got to do that.... My children are both learning about gardening and how to grow vegetables, because it is becoming too damned expensive to buy them. They are learning about debt and managing money and that you don't really have to pay back money you borrow -- that is something that I never learned. My children are also learning that they are going to have to "pull themselves up by the bootstraps" as college grants and loans may not be available to them. They don't seem to mind, though...and are looking forward to the ten years it will take them to complete college.

My children are learning about things such as "global warming", "peak oil", "stolen elections", "election fraud", "treason", "neo-cons" and "un-constitutional". We have George Bush to thank for this...and we are grateful.

I could continue but I think I have made my point. If I can convince one 'Merkun how great it is to live in the times of George W. Bush, then I have done my job. This man has given so much to this country and has asked for so little in return -- it is a shame that more people don't realize it.

Thanks for taking the time to read my post. Please feel free to tell us why you are thankful for George Bush, too...I am certain that you are.

Right?

1. i am grateful for george w, bush because
without his reign of error, dems might never have gotten back the leadership and conservatives might never have known that regulation can be a good thing.

3. You're right..
There are some good things President Bush (Moment of silence in respect) has brought to us..

He has helped my family get back in touch with nature.

We would have never had time to ponder scavenging berries for sustenance or moving into an abandoned mineshaft to save on heating bills without his help.

Thanks George!

Thanks for making me a fighter.

I used to just vote, nothing else.
I watched and bitched from the sidelines in the 1990's with the GOP controlled Congress.
I sat out working the 2000 election because I couldn't get that enthusiastic about Gore. I live in Florida and never realized until election night how pivotal my state was.
In 2002 I just assumed Democrats would get control of Congress back and things would start getting better. I didn't think any differently until the election was over.

In 2004, I joined my local DEC (the Democratic Party).

"After all you put us through, you think I despise you, but in the end, I want to thank you...
makes me that much stronger...thanks for making me, a fighter."

added on edit:
I know that's not her meaning of the song, but it's mine.

5. Thank you for making everything so simple!
You're with us or you're with the terrorists. I get it now. I don't have to worry about thinking about complicated things--he's done it all for me! He's taken it on the chin for America and distilled all that hard, hard, work into just a few pat phrases that everyone can remember. That's a real service to the nation. There's no room for nuance or gray areas in America. If it's not red, white, and blue, I want nothin' to do with it! See? Wasn't that simple?

And he's made it so easy: I know just who to hate. I can turn on the radio and know exactly who is destroying America. The bad people are mostly color-coded, too. What could be more convenient?

I'm so much happier since I took the blue pill.
