2. I was counting on our check to help us out today
We were supposed to get it today with direct deposit, or so I thought. I found out yesterday that if you used a Rapid Refund for your tax refund for 2007 where you had the fees taken out of the Rapid Refund check, you have to wait for the paper check. Since I was counting on getting it to make a car payment, I might lose my car. I'm very disappointed, and wanted to let people know about this, cause I didn't. More info is on the IRS website.

4. How did you find that out?
I did taxes for several people including mine (all electronically filed and direct deposited) and I could get information for one of the people whos taxes I did. All others say no information available. This includes working people with dependents and retirees and survivors with dependents.

5. I went to the IRS website to see how much we would get for sure
And that info is on the page below. I called H&R Block to make sure and they confirmed it. Needless to say, I was highly pissed off.

3. I donated $100 to a Maine food bank. I will not spend the
rest on anything until Bush is out of office.
