This, the primaries, I am so over. My energy will now be focused on the GE.

At this point, it's bread and circus'. Done and over.

I'm tuning out for a while. Going to listen to some music, take a chill. Lots of good stuff in my life that I need to remind myself of. Whatever I focus on, whether good or bad, becomes larger. My choice.

There have always been aspects of society with which I've disagreed, swaths of our culture which disgust me, but life -- its mysteries and its promises -- has always held me enthralled.

As Ralph Ellison famously observed, "my world {is} one of infinite possibilities." After first being "for" society and then "against," I've learned to assign myself "no rank or any limit, and such an attitude is very much against the trend of the times." And in doing so, the world has opened up, and I see it -- as Ellison's thinker-tinker did so many years ago -- I see it as "one of infinite possibilities." And a man -- especially Invisible Men as we all are -- shouldn't accept any other definition. "Until some gang succeeds in putting the world in a strait jacket, its definition is possibility. Step outside the narrow borders of what men call reality and you step into chaos . . . or imagination."

So yes, the world remains -- as it has been throughout our lives -- "concrete, ornery, vile and sublimely wonderful," but when viewed in the proper frame, a world of infinite possibility. And so it is, every day.

but I'm going to enjoy today.

with having lots of years to look back on is totally worth keeping on for.

It gets easier to make more sense of what you're witnessing when you have a larger memory database to analyze from.

If you're feeling "older than dirt", then you are letting your life get out of balance. Love is what will give you energy -- and love is what our planet needs most.

Be in love with the trees and the water and the birds and all the beautiful alive things of this planet. It is not hard at all to fight for what you truly love.
