Former Under SEC of DEF fieth on Jon Stewart

Jon tried his best to call him on their deceptiveness going into the war in Iraq. But he was talking fast and furious. these guys look like they're in come serious CYA mode. Suddenly all these books coming out giving their side of the stories. I think they're planting evidence for their defense?

The interviewer just sits there and nods, and proceeds to the next question. Feith prattles away, completely out of touch with reality, and the "real" news guys just let it pass. Never a cross question, never a challenge; it's like they don't remember anything before they went on the air today, and they're not thinking about anything beyond the nice mimosa waiting for them when the studio lights go off.

He's such a fucking whore, blaming everyone but himself. He's one of the chief architects, and he's sitting there, blaming the "Administration." It takes a certain kind of chutzpah to do something so publicly brazen. This guy would probably blow Wolf Blitzer if he thought it would sell books.

Jon Stewart comported himself beautifully. The asshole Feith didn't even know he'd had a shiv slipped between his ribs.
