Thank You Howard Dean!
I just saw a post on Kos that reminded me of all the criticism he received for he allegedly hopeless 50 state strategy.

In light of last night's victory in Mississippi (and to take 5 seconds away from fighting with each other over the nomination), I just want to say thank you to DNC Chairman Dean for hanging tough and not backing down to the James Carvilles and Paul Begalas of the world.

2. Hee haw! Howard Dean just drank Paul Begala's milkshake!

THIS, folks, is why I've been one of Dean's "Democracy Bond Holders" since early 2006.

http://www.democrats.org/democracybonds.html

He had the right idea - just 500,000 of us giving just $20 a month = $10 million each and every month for the Democratic Party to spread around in states that in the past had been written off and conceded to the 'Pukes.

5. I think McAuliffe let state party infrastructures collapse DELIBERATELY to assure
BushInc would have 8 years so Clinton could follow and provide the mask needed to keep the books closed and their illegalities protected, just like Bill did for Poppy throughout the 90s.

6. Methinks you give McAuliffe too much credit.
Don't attribute something to conspiracy that can adequately be explained by stupidity.

party infrastructures collapse in many states. He didn't lift a finger to stop the RNC's vote theft tactics.

There is nothing brilliant about not doing anything to stop RNC's vote theft. And McAuliffe was just a seat holder - Clintons controlled the DNC since 1993, and drove its agenda until February2005.

8. Basically, the Clinton/DLC/DNC troika dissed and dismissed
the Democratic rank-and-file. They (and the nation) paid for it big time in 1994 and beyond.

That's not conspiracy - that's stupidity.

9. Yep - it could only work for them when it was behind the scenes - the campaign is forcing
their tactics into the open and many Dems are disgusted by what they are witnessing. And they know now that the undermining of Gore and Kerry campaigns aren't JUST rumors to be shrugged off anymore.

10. What worked for them in 1992 got their asses kicked at the polls thereafter.
And only know do they really see it.

4. Thank you Dr. Dean! I get so pissed off at talking heads who are
always blaming him for the Mich/Fla mess and every other damn thing they think is wrong with the Dems! It WASN'T Dean who forced those 2 states to be arrogant idiots and ignore the Party Rules, it was the State Party leaders! Dean is not a gregarious and opportunistic as Terry was, but I agree with his idea a whole lot more!
