Republicans Try to Regroup After Another Setback; Republicans 'DEMORALIZED'

House Republicans struggled to regroup Wednesday in the aftermath of a devastating election loss in Mississippi, acknowledging that their party faced a significant challenge in November after the loss of three Republican seats in special elections this year.

“It was another wake-up call that we have to show Americans that we can fix the problems here in Washington and fix the problems they deal with every day,” said Representative John A. Boehner of Ohio, the House Republican leader...

Republicans were clearly demoralized by the loss and the prospect of sinking deeper into the minority in November. But no immediate personnel shake-ups were announced even though Mr. Boehner hinted at “changes that maybe necessary to adopt to the environment we are living in.”

19. Agree Completely
I have to agree with this; I have noticed no difference at all to their behavior. If you flip to C-SPAN 1 or 2 at any time during the day, when Congress is in session, ALL YOU GET is yet another Republican obstruction (as a matter of fact, they seem to be getting even more hysterical with the number and duration of these things)--motions to adjourn, objections to this or that, inappropriate Amendments to bills, then whining about it for hours that it was not allowed, walking off the House floor over and over, delaying votes, rushing votes, undercutting or sabotaging questioning of Bush Admin. officials during hearings, and constant, nerve-grating yelling, yelling and yelling at the "unfair Democrat leadership" for this or that, or anything. I am so fucking sick of it--as they design to accomplish NOTHING in the Congress, and attack, all day every day, every single thing Democrats try to do. There is no difference, they never change. I agree.

23. Demoralized is not being able to buy milk and bread for your kids
Demoralized is telling your partner they have to die because he/she has no health insurance.
Demoralized is forking over $4.00 plus a gallon so you can do your job.

The Republicans have no idea what it's like to be demoralized. I hope they are shitting their pants. They're lucky we have elections and not mobs dragging them through the streets to stone them with rocks. Fucking bastards.
