I'm sorry. I know that isn't the point . . . but it is driving me MAD. It is everywhere.

A cite (noun) is a note identifying the source of information. Your link is, in essence, a cite.
To cite (verb) means to refer to something. You "cited" the link as an interesting polling site.

A site (noun) is a location or a website. The "site" of the polling web site is "cited" in your post.
To site (verb) means to place or locate something in a particular spot.

2. LOL. I work in the legal profession and cite is on the end of my fingers and too late to edit.

I don't usually call people on these errors - but I'm grading student papers this week and since they must provide bibliographies and appropriate internal citation, I'm seeing it more than I can stand!!

8. Thanks for defending me.

What did you think of the site? Looks like the DNC had a hand in the polling. I don't know that I put so much confidence in it as an Obama supporter, I don't like what I see.

Obama supporter here too (since Edwards has been out).

I would'nt put too much faith in it either. But seems to be pretty fair.

Another site I have been keeping my eye on for the last few election cycles that seem to be pretty accurate most of the time...
