1. The Change you deserve - Bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/05/14/AR2008051403186.html?hpid=topnews

<snip>
"The Republican agenda, 'The Change You Deserve,' is directed at America's families," Rep. Kay Granger (R-Tex.) announced at a televised news conference with House Republican leaders yesterday morning. "And you may be a little surprised at this agenda."

Why, yes, we are. And Democrats are manic over the medicinal mantra.

House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) called reporters into his office. "Democrats, not drugs, is what the American people need," he said. He flashed the Effexor side effects on a large flat-screen television. "Nausea, up to 58 percent," Hoyer said. "Actually it's higher than that for Republicans."

"Are depression symptoms keeping you from where you want to be?" Effexor's maker, Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, asks in its promotions. "Not feeling as good as you used to?"

For House Republicans, the diagnosis is obvious: They are suffering from Election Anxiety Disorder. Tuesday night, they lost the third special election in a row to Democrats in heavily Republican congressional districts. Eighty-two percent of Americans say the country is on the wrong track, and they're largely holding President Bush and his party responsible. This week, panicked House Republicans defied Bush and voted with Democrats to pass a farm bill and to divert oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve.

5. LOL
The problem is they're base has been Pampering them for so long while walking around in stinky Hagees/Huggies. Vitties won't cure the infected rashes which have their disenchanted babies screaming.

Further too many of their members pretend to be Charmin while they're making overtures from cesspools of corruption or bathroom stalls.

Dems are about to disinfect the room.
I'm lovin it!! :rofl:

2. Their Real Slogan Should Be...
Denial...It Ain't Just A River is Iraq! :rofl:

Gotta love the Bob Barr calls...if he can suck 5% away from Gramps...especially in "swing states", add that to the growing number who I keep hearing (not just from here but from canvassing) who are just "fed up" and will stay home. I keep saying that Gramps needs every single vote he and his lobbyists can buy, steal or beg for...but there's no way he's gonna get the numbers boooshie boy did in '04. And I don't see things turning around...remember, this is Gramps' honeymoon...if he can't crack over 45% in polls now, he's sure not gonna do it after the Democrats consolidate.

Here's a real rub...many of these GOOP goons know they're gonna get their asses handed to them in November and that their meal tickets in the White House will be gone, too...they're too wedded to this regime and too conflicted. The implosion is picking up momentum and we're seeing it on the House floor. Those temper tantrums are making them laughing stocks...it's amazing how many people have picked up on the story about how they voted against Mothers' Day.

These asshats are going down with the ship...and I suggest we enjoy the slow-motion death throes. But as someone else pointed out here...they're now caged animals...and those are always the most dangerous kind. I already have a checklist of slimes to come against Obama and other candidates...reminds me of Harold Washington's election in 1983...we'll hear someone use the slogan "before its too late". The good thing is Axelrod worked on that Washington campaign and learned a lot...and it's paying off now.

Cheers...
