4. I saw it live...the guy couldn't give a straight answer
It was the best I've seen on Hardball. Chris made that republican guy look extremely ignorant. Yesterday's confrontation with Pat Buchanan was pretty good too.

10. KRLA 870
Kevin James began his professional career in 1988 as a lawyer with one of Los Angeles's largest law firms. Soon thereafter, Kevin spent more than 3 years as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in LA, and then more than 10 years as a litigator in high profile entertainment matters.

Kevin's legal experience is what initially brought him into the talk radio industry, regularly providing his legal expertise to talk radio stations in major markets around the country. In early 2004, Kevin decided to leave the legal profession to begin his full-time career as a radio talk show host at KTOK in Oklahoma City, where Kevin's legal experience and his interest in news and the topics of the day resulted in tremendous success in the morning drive slot at KTOK.

Kevin's rating success in Oklahoma City enabled his return to Los Angeles in early 2005 to host KABC's "Red Eye Radio" -- once again achieving great ratings success. Kevin hosted "Red Eye Radio" until April 2007.

Kevin has also served as a regular panelist for Court TV's "Catherine Crier Live" and appeared on CNN as a commentator and legal analyst.

Kevin received his undergraduate degree from the University of Oklahoma and attended law school at the Univeristy of Houston.

Kevin brings a passionate and practical voice to the countless issues that affect the Southern California community, and also has the experience to provide an insider's perspective into Hollywood's never-ending wave of high profile conflicts and disputes that frequently relate to larger issues affecting the nation.

You can add to his bio, dumb as a stump. Probably got his law degree from a box of Cracker Jacks (if it is even a real degree), and not the kind of lawyer you want defending you in a case against anyone.

8. The man has lost all credibility
in all honesty I cannot see how he can ever work again. Of course I am doing my part to see that he does not EVER work again as a political commentator, because I am emailing all of my fundie friends, relatives, etc. the link with the statement that Republicans spew bullshit as a matter of course but are incapable of route memorzation of facts, let alone deep thought.

I suggest you all do the same.

Kevin James (b. 1963) is an American radio personality who is the host of "The Kevin James Show." The program, which focuses on local and national politics, airs live on KRLA AM 870 in Los Angeles between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m., Monday through Friday. With experience as both a federal prosecutor and an entertainment lawyer, James often appears as a legal analyst on various television and radio programs.

Biography
James earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Oklahoma and a law degree from the University of Houston. He is a member of the California State Bar.

James worked for three years as an Assistant U.S. Attorney, prosecuting federal crimes. He also worked for more than 10 years in private legal practice, representing high-profile entertainment industry clients in state and federal court.

After several years as a guest and substitute host for talk radio programs in Los Angeles, James accepted the position of the morning drive radio host on KTOK AM 1000 in Oklahoma City in 2004. While with KTOK, the station increased its ratings from eighth to third in the time slot, according to Arbitron.

In 2005, James became the host of "Red Eye Radio," the overnight (midnight to 5 a.m.) call-in program on KABC (AM) 790 in Los Angeles<1>.

On Memorial Day Weekend 2007, James began hosting "The Kevin James Show" on KRLA AM 870 in Los Angeles.<2>.

James also appears as a panelist on television news programs. In recent years, he has appeared on CNN and as a regular guest on Court TV’s "Catherine Crier Live".<3>

James' radio program often focuses on the issue of illegal immigration, as well as on Los Angeles and California politics. On television, James usually discusses criminal law topics of national interest, such as the trials of Michael Jackson and Scott Peterson.

James is an outspoken fan of the Oklahoma Sooners college football team.

Hardball Episode
On May 15, 2008, James appeared on Hardball with Chris Matthews, debating with Chris Mathews and supporting the remarks made by President George W. Bush's speech to the Knesset in Israel, where Bush implied that there was a parallel between the appeasement towards Hitler and the policies of leading Democratic Presidential Candidate Barack Obama, in reference to Obama expressing a willingness to meet with the leaders of U.S. adversaries. Although reiterating what Bush said, James admitted that "he did not know" what Neville Chamberlain's appeasement of Hitler in World War II was, after being repeatedly challenged by host Chris Matthews to clarify his remarks on the subject. This led Mathews to state: "if you don't know what appeasement is about then don't talk about it." Matthews accused James of being a "blank slate", who didn't know anything about history, and likened James to White House spokesman Dana Perino, who in a public appearance had no idea what the Cuban Missile Crisis was. The episode continued on for 9 minutes.<4><5><6><7>
