State lawmaker's ex-girlfriend to face theft charges

A woman accused of stealing money from state representative Scott Suder, a Republican representing the 69th Assembly District, will be charged later this month.

Lisa Brabazon, 33, of Wausau is accused of breaking into Suder’s Abbotsford home on Sept. 27, 2007, according to a complaint Suder filed with the Clark County Circuit Court on Oct. 4.

Suder reported that he had several personal checks used fraudulently, several credit cards stolen and used without his permission and tampering of his e-mail accounts. The relationship had reportedly ended before the alleged Sept. 27 break-in.

Brabazon will make an initial court appearance May 22 on 15 felony charges of forgery and four counts of fraudulent use of a credit card.
