Business with Nazis, business with Bin Ladens...
What next? A picture of Barbara Bush french kissing Ho Chi Mihn at a sock hop back in '41? Seriously, How does this most powerful family pal around with our enemies and not get called on it?

1. Because, in Amerika, there are no consequences for facist behavior. Because the wealthy that rule
this country (and the world) know that they will do better under that (repuke) form of control.

Why would they do anything to hurt their own privileged position?

2. Wasn't Poppy Bush meeting with a bin Laden brother 9-10-01?
I thought I read that somewhere, that they met in DC the day before 9-11.

The Bushes are simply the most untrustworthy family in America.

4. Really? I had not heard that, but I would not be supprised to
read that it was true. It would explain the look on his son's face while pretending to read an upside down book.

Carlyle Group. Those and other defense money people. Michael Moore illustrated this in Farenheit 911. If you haven't seen that, you should.

7. Yes, I think it was the Carlyle Group meeting in DC on 9-10
I also recall hearing that a Pakistani General who was associated with support for the Taliban was in DC about that time, meeting with the likes of Condi Rice.

Stuff that sounds weird and inexplicable ....

8. I honestly believe that people
in this country just sort of look the other way on things like that in order to feel comfortable and safe in their daily lives. If we they knew the half of what really goes on I really think it would cause massive depression and/or panic.

10. at a minimum it appears as if ...

... there was some level of knowledge it was coming among some government and quasi government interests, and that, at a minimum, there was a decision to let it happen and use it for purposes of domestic political advantage. The rapidity of the Patriot Act, and the anthrax attacks on the lead Democrats opposing it certainly give the appearance of being part of a post 9-11 plan that was in place before 9-11. In looking back on it, someone in our government clearly wanted an event to occur, and wanted to use it to rearrange the political and constitutional face of America.

5. Birds of a feather...
Records: Arnold's father was member of Nazi storm troops

VIENNA, Austria (AP) — It's just a tiny typewritten line tucked away in an immense archive, but it sheds further light on the Nazi past of Arnold Schwarzenegger's father.

The brief entry in one of millions of documents stored at the Austrian State Archives shows that Gustav Schwarzenegger, the late father of the film star now running for governor of California, was a volunteer member of the Sturmabteilung, or SA — the notorious Nazi storm troopers also known as brownshirts.

The father's Nazi Party membership and combat record in the German army are not new, and his son's dismay about it is well known. The revelations of SA membership that emerged a week ago add another strand to the murky story.

The "SA 1.5.1939" listing shows that the elder Schwarzenegger joined May 1, 1939, the year after Germany annexed Austria and six months after the brownshirts played a crucial role in the bloody Kristallnacht riots. MORE...

Roosevelt from joining the war against Hitler.
