McCain: We'll Miss him for that and many other reasons
I'm not just calling out McCain, but his quote that I just heard on MSNBC is the problem I'm having with the coverage and I guess McCain as well. I understand that he MEANS a lot to a bunch of people, but the man is not dead and he will give the fight of his life. So Please, McCain, the media, and others...I know you mean well, but please remember that Teddy is still with us and he has some fight left in him.

2. Amen. I caught that, too.
Unless they have heard a solid report that Ted's time is imminent, they should watch their words. Ted will fight for as long as he is able, which could be a very long time. Rather than speak of him in the past tense, let's stand behind him and cheer him on through the chemo and radiation treatments. Miracles still happen!

4. McCain can't do anything right when he talks.
Unless he reads something that is reasonably well written. I really believe McCain has some kind of brain or neurological disability.

6. Damaged goods for sure
I feel sorry for him. He is no more fit for being POTUS than W is.

5. He might know something
The Senate is a very small and intimate club. And when folks have been serving together for dozens and dozens of years, R and D mean very little when it comes to personal relationships.

8. kennedy is still alive. until he is dead, it is unbelievably tasteless to talk about him in the
past tense, regardless of what he knows, or thinks he knows. and given the reports I have heard about Ted being up and around, he probably knows nada

9. McLame is not mentally qualified to be Pres.
America cannot afford another mentally deficient Pres.

10. Exhibiting such a defeatist attitude is disgusting. Your post is
exactly right. It's appalling that McLame talks about him like he has finished his work, etc.

12. Actually no. We won't miss him.
I could be wrong about that. Perhaps if he goes away right now, we might be able to be sure.

13. I was being as disingenuous as he was being.
Of course, I think one of his "many reasons" was TK's service as a lightning rod for rightwing hatred.
