Who's the third candidate in the OR Senate race?
http://www.oregonlive.com/special/index.ssf/2008/05/senate.html">The Oregonian says that a female candidate ("Neville") is getting 7% of the vote in the Senate primary, but I can't find any reference to her. Who is she and what was she running on as a platform?

1. Candy Neville, a relative unknown,
joined the race late and had very little fundraising. Ending the Iraq war was her biggest issue and motivation for getting in. I don't know much else about her.

Oregon suffered from too many good candidates up and down the ballot this year.

2. How that paper stays in business is beyond me. They treat the news as if it's top secret.
They report election results without telling what party the candidates are with. That's top secret. They can't tell us that. Is this paper run by a grade school class?

She is a peace candidate

NOTHING HAS OCCURRED WHICH WE HAVE NOT ALLOWED. CEASE TO ALLOW. STAND UP. SPEAK UP, STARTING HERE. STARTING NOW. YES, YOU.

IRAQ: Insist we bring our most precious national resources - our courageous and idealistic youth - home from Iraq, where they can apply their patriotism and talents to their homeland. Speak up for those redeployed over and over with no escape like Katrina victims trapped on a roof. Our youth must speak up on behalf of those who are trapped in this cycle.

IRAN: Our youth must recognize that if we go into Iran, we will need more soldiers. Where will they come from? Look to your right - look to your left - look in the mirror. It's called the draft. Google it.

Tomorrow is not yet written. Don't let Bush write it for you.
Stand up. Speak up. Starting here. Starting now. Yes, You.
