2. Can't wait to see it. Obama should play that tape as often as McBush plays
Rev. Wright.

4. Very well, but. A lot of fundies are going to agree with Hagee.
They worship at the altar of Zionism and the Holocaust was the means to an end. Just saying.
I know these people.

7. Play this tape for the Knesset in Israel, in case they think about supporting
McCain.

8. They're already ignoring Bush
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/05/21/former-nsc-official-israe_n_102945.html

<snip>
According to 29-year CIA veteran and former NSC official Bruce Riedel, Wednesday's announcement of joint peace negotiations between Israel and Syria revealed President Bush's diminished standing in Middle East affairs.

"Think of the irony," Riedel said. "George Bush goes to Jerusalem last week. He gives an impassioned speech about never dealing with nasty regimes . He basically says 'don't make agreements that appease .' And less than a week later, the Israeli government announces it is engaged in peace negotiations with the Assad dictatorship in Syria. We're talking about a rather distasteful regime that likely had a hand in the murder of Rafik Hariri. I guess Ehud Olmert didn't think the speech was meant for him."

Riedel, who served as a special assistant to the president until 2002 and is now with the Brookings Institution, said the lack of weight accorded to Bush's appeasement speech "shows more and more that the Middle East is not listening to him anymore, as does the deal announced in Doha for Lebanon today." In that Doha agreement, the Iranian-supported Hezbollah secured effective veto power within Lebanon's next cabinet -- an arrangement that is sure to frustrate any future efforts to disarm the political party that the U.S. considers a terrorist organization.

10. There was a time...
That Hagee's cherry-picking of scripture from the far reaches of the bible, to create his own message would have been called what it is: Sophistry.

And then, the church would have pulled his tongue out of his head with tongs or poured molten lead down his throat.

Those were simpler times. Now, he gets a TV show.

12. I'm Jewish and let me tell you many right wing zionists probably agree
with everything hagee said. Others will be pissed off. Either way it won't have the impact of Rev. Wright. I wouldn't be surprised to find out that hagee got those crazy ideas from right wing zionists. For every Jew you have more ideas that's just the way we are. We criticize things and value coming up with ideas and arguments mostly on religious basis. I can picture a group of orthodox Jews arguing amongst themselves this very issue of whether G-d caused the Holocaust to form the Jewish state.

I do appreciate the discussion of it on this board.
