Let me pose this hypothetical....

It's late evening on January 19th 2009, President Insane is furiously scribbling his juvenile scrawl across hundreds of pardons including, among others, Shitstain Shoots-Guy-In-Face, Condomlezza Rice, Dummy Rummy, Douglas "Stupidest Man Alive" Feith, and Fredo Gonzales because as of the next day Attorney General Designee John Edwards will be taking the oath of office and it is clear that those in the know are about to sing about the events of that disasterous day. President Motherfucker knows he can't pardon himself, but not to worry, a Citation X, supplied by the Saudis, has the APU running and the turbines turning on a somewhat remote airfield within Washington DC ADIZ and is ready to launch him and his Xanaxed-upped wife to the blissful Bushit redoubt in Paraguay.

The next day, to the chorus of a thousand bells ringing in Washington DC, President-elect Obama takes the oath of office. The former Asswipe of a President looks on knowing that he is untouchable and besides, like every good Nazi, he is making his escape to South America right after the ceremony. Meanwhile, Shitstain Shoots-Guy-In-Face has already moved out of his compound in Maryland and will be shortly making his way to Dubai to oversee the development of operation "Total Control," Halliburton's massive centralization of all contract operations in the ME. The little five-deferment fuck also knows that he is untouchable thanks to the pardon issued by President Bullshit just hours ago.

As if on cue, three days later, AG Edwards announces that evidence supplied by insiders, who have secretly testified with full immunity, has exposed Operation Arbeit Macht Frei and the worldwide network that planned and executed the heinous crime. Faced with this evidence President Obama knows that these crimes against humanity cannot go unpunished, but the pardons and the ex-pat status of the criminals in countries friendly to them have made the situation as difficult as finding the supposed mastermind (yeah, right) behind the crime.

And now the question: If you were President Obama, what whould you do?

Can bush pardon folks for crimes they haven't yet been convicted of, let alone charged?

If it's the only way to get the message out to the world, so be it. Kidnap their asses and get their asses to court. Fuck the laws of Paraguay, Saudi, or any piece of shit country that would stoop to protecting them.

I've always thought that pardoning criminals was always something that should have been amended out of our Constitution. It seems like it would help these situations/Watergate so that those who committed crimes would be punished.

But I would probably end up doing a full investigation, and letting all alone. I think the bigger a political issue is made of it, the worse it will make Obama look throughout the rest of his 8 years.
