http://abcnews.go.com/Technology/story?id=4728737|Climate experts said the arctic could be ice free for the first time this summer>. Of course if there is enough ice left to fill a cocktail glass, Rush will say it's proof global warming is still a hoax.

I grew up in Long Beach. Now, if you were to tell me that LB got snow, I'd find that fantastic!

Signal Hill could become a ski resort!

4. global warming doesn't mean that every place will get hotter--Europe might get COLDER

because the air and water currents could change. In Europe, they get warm currents from the south which makes their climate far more temperate than the comparable latitudes. Great Britain is farther north than all of the US except Alaska, yet they hardly ever get winter like the Midwest or New England. Without those currents, their climate could be more like Greenland.

5. Oh yes it does.

We got a total of 6' this winter. The resorts had a banner year. There was snow on the ground at my house until the middle of April.

But no one I know here can remember when it last snowed the weekend of Memorial Day.

Let me say that I'm not disputing global climate change. Just pointing out a strange occurance.
