Why do people feel the need to broadbrush so damn much? Is it really that hard to say "Some within this group of people are actively working for this objectionable end, through these objectionable means. It seems that they feel this way for this reason, and I find that disgusting for this reason."

How freaking hard is that?

Please keep your bigotry under wraps.

1. Thank you, thank you, thank you. The use or implication of "All" is often the same type of thing,
in form, as whatever the poster is complaining about. So whatever they are bitching about isn't their REAL problem, but rather that someone else is doing the bitching instead of them.

7. "some people say"..."some are saying".. is just as ambiguous
and annoying.. Like Obama said last week..Who ARE these people, name them.. (paraphrasing)..

When people say stuff like "some" or "all" ,. you can pretty much bet they don't know what they are talking about, or are about to try & wow you with some bullshit statistics they heard "somewhere"

10. Do you disagree? Or are you just lashing out at me?
Don't pretend that you don't see this nearly constantly about "Hillary Supporters", "Obama Supporters", "Jews", "AA's", "Christians", etc. As I said upthread I do this myself sometimes.

For example (if you're really so blind or stupid that you need one), I just read 3 comments in another thread saying that "American Jews don't put America first!". Feel better now?

Doesn't that piss you off when someone broadbrushes you? Hmmm?

It seems to me you just wanted to come in here and take a shit... btw the toilet is that way =====> GD-P

whatever floats your boat..

15. Yeah but I would suggest backing it up
When you don't have statistics to back it up, I'm of the opinion that you're probably stereotyping.

19. Hmm...interesting.
We had an un-official meeting at my office this morning discussing who is and who ain't allowed to say the words "always" and "never".

Perhaps we should've added more superlatives to the list.

21. Yeah "always" and "never" are the two words besides "I cheated"
That likely cause most divorces in this country!
