When the airliners were coming up with cracks and other structural problems and it was shown they were not doing maintenance as required. I told my fundie co-worker, "Why do we need the FAA. What we need to do is let a few of these airliners crash due to the lack of oversight. Then people won't fly those airlines, and the industry will clean itself up. We DON"T NEED GOVERNMENT REGULATION. LET BUSINESS TAKE CARE OF ITSELF"
