Live on C-SPAN: The Convention in Denver is Underway!
Er, that's the Libertarian Party convention.

Seven candidates for President debated yesterday:

Bob Barr
Wayne Allyn Root
Mary Ruwart
Mike Gravel
Mike Jingozian
George Phillies
Steve Kubby

The nomination process is scheduled to begin at 11:30 AM.

1. I Wonder If Gravel Paid For Parking This Time...
Last year at YearlyKos, his car was towed

This could be fun to watch...I imagine plenty of boooosh bashing.

My money's on Bob Barr...he'll be Gramps worst nightmare.

2. I saw some of this last night (just closing statements)
I didn't realize Gravel had gone (back?) to being a
Lib(ertarian)!

Wayne Allyn Root was a hoot -- he reminded me of a
non-denomination pastor/motivational speaker ...

3. No Ron Paul?
Damn. Well, I hope he's successful disrupting the GOP convention.

4. I saw most of the debate last night...
...Gravel was the best, Mary Ruwart deserves honorable mention. Bob Barr's not used to being a libertarian so he may not get the nomination thought he would put the nominee on the map since he is probably nationally known because he was an impeachment manager (also why he lost his seat in the house). Root was crazy, Phillies wants to put everyone in jail.

It was really very entertaining.
