What now ?
Someone has pulled back the curtain and exposed the truth for just a moment. They have been lying to us about everything - including the reasons for going to war. They manipulated the "media sources". I am shocked! So, what do we do about it?

Let's make excuses or let's just sweeep it under the rug at the first opportunity. Maybe a Hillary or Obama gaffe will be the perfect time to get this uncomfortable 800-lb truth out of sight? Besides, what can we do about it? This Administration is almost over. It would just be messy to start exposing the facts now.

Anyway, McClelland is only trying to sell books. We don't have any responsibilty to take his book to #1 on the best-seller list. Because he's lying also, when he pretends he did not know the rest of them were lying. Just how important is this story, anyway? Is it really anything we didn't already know? Is it really anything the "liberal media" did not already know? Either do your job or not - there is no try.

1. I think it will be hard to whitewash this
At least not this week. But of course the story could blow over over the weekend.

2. It seems that no story has the presence to stay for more than 72 hours...
No matter if our nation is torturing people. No matter if we are spying on millions of Americans. No matter if over 4000 troops are dead over the lies about going to war. Nothing can drown these demons. Perhaps a wooden stake thru the heart?

8. Does the opposing Party have any responsibility to keep it alive?
Pick out a few main points of the charges and bring them out every couple of days until it runs its course?

3. Can't do anything UNTIL this administration is over, and keep McCain out or there will be pardons.
I'm coming to believe that's why they're waiting...Bu$h would pardon anyone that knows where the skeletons are AND I'm sure they've got a Nixon/Ford style deal with McCain.

Whattaya bet??

11. If nothing else, that'd be a good thing
Ending the Iranian escapade.

Don't you almost feel sorry for all the rubes who believed bushco? They've got to be scrathing their heads wondering what other lies have been told.

But of course, we 10 percenters on DU know, and have known all along.
