I was going to offer an opinion, but another RS'er thoughtfully did it for me...

When I see all the postings saying McClellan was totally incompetent and his being in the position a total failure, you need to remember who put him in that position-GWB.

Also remember that McClellan was not fired, he resigned. If he was that bad why did GWB allow him to continue to damage his administration. All this attacking him on his job performance will just fuel the "lefties" fire that GWB was a boob and never should have been President.
