3. I agree...
...Powell was part of the policy-making team - he could have quit any time and told the world he was against this administration's policies - he had the political capital to spend and didn't bother.

6. Powell's speech at the UN convinced my peace-loving, Democratic Mom
to more or less go along with the invasion after being quite skeptical before then. Extrapolating that level of credibility and influence over others like her in the US population at that time certainly means that "good soldier" Powell has a whole lot of death and destruction to answer for.
