Time for the major terrorist distraction
I would be good money that in view of the McClellan explosive allegations, there will be a major international incident to take our minds off Bush and his cronie's crimes.
It will probably take place in the ME, and involve Iran big time. Just watch.

2. I was thinking somewhat along the same lines...
This would be a "good" (for them) time to issue a scary terror alert. When was the last time we had one of those? Honestly, the last one I remember was during the 2004 presidential election, maybe Sept/Oct. (How convenient.) Maybe they tried it in the fall of '06, too. Can't remember.

But I won't be surprised to see a terror warning tomorrow or Saturday.
