As in D for Definite Decision Day. It's fast approaching, the day the neverending Democratic primary is finally, once and for all, forever and ever, amen, coming to a close. Even as Bill Clinton claims a secret conspiracy exists to cover up the undeniable fact that Hillary is actually winning the race, the rational minds are siding with Senator Obama on this one.

He knows it, too, even if the Clintons are still mired in denial. Reuters reports: "The Illinois senator, 46, predicted he would be in a 'pretty strong position' to clinch the nomination after a Saturday meeting by party officials and Tuesday's votes. On Saturday, Democratic officials will work on a compromise over disputed nominating contests in Michigan and Florida. Obama said a resolution on how to seat those delegates would be important to 'put the Michigan/Florida issue behind us. At that point all the information will be in,' he said. 'There will be no more questions unanswered. I suspect that whatever remaining superdelegates will be able to make their decisions quickly after that. We're only a few days away.'"

Whew! Now the REAL election campaign can begin. And the fight is on already with Obama taking heat from McCain over a potential trip to Iraq. According to the LA Times, "Arizona Sen. John McCain needled Barack Obama on Wednesday by offering to travel to Iraq with the Illinois senator to help him gain a better understanding of the war and the consequences of withdrawing troops."

Goody. Perhaps McCain can demonstrate to Obama the safety of the local marketplace by strolling about in full body armor while Apache helicopters armed with sharp-shooters circle overhead.

It's going to be a helluva ride 'till November, Truthseekers! Better buckle up!

I think McClellan is CONFIRMING what we knew. It is as if a witness has come forward to provide a first hand account that Truthout, Huffington Post, Salon, MoveOn, etc were right on target about the politization of the war, disaster relief, ecology and global warming, etc.

had been giving me a hard time lately, but today he walked into the kitchen while I was making dinner and told me "I love you" just as sweetly as anything. Most of the time, he only says that after you say it to him first.

My other child is asking to sit and read with me. We have a book called Ghosthunters, a fun story for an eight year old. He has disliked reading for so long, but he is finally getting into it with us!

I know someone who has a son with Asperger's and she had a hard time dealing with the fact that even as an infant he didn't smile at her, nor show any affection. Big :hug: to you.
