There's nothing like extreme incompetence to make even the blind see.....

1. I would have rather the Democratic Party not be helped than to have...
what happened to the world happen because of that man.

2. See what? That our nation is in desperate trouble?
How dare you find worthy of rejoicing.

5. You have to hit rock bottom before positive change can happen....

It took these criminal bastards to practically ruin the country in order for apathetic Americans to notice anything.

Rejoicing in the desperate position our country is in? Not at all.

These criminals should not only be impeached, they should be tried for murder, as Vincent Bugliosi does in his new book -

Unfortunately, he is also the worst thing to happen to this country since it's inception.

10. We haven't even seen the tip of the iceberg
of the damage Bush has done to the world.

The Civil War is at least over. More or less.

7. "They will go down with him"
I agree.

Let's hope this new push by the GOP (to rebrand) doesn't cause people to forget that Bush=GOP=all their new incarnations.

12. The Bush they rode in on...turned out to be a nag.....and they wish to still hang on to the reins?
The GOP is gonna suffer like big time....they sucked for the Bush and now they gonna die with it...

Rebrand...? They wanna change a few descriptive words to rebrand themselves...? Good Luck cause it ain't gonna work...we got the internet now....and we use it....the GOP Brand had their shot at doing it good...insterad,,,they went for greed and arrogance...."We won, GET OVER IT" when I heard those words in Dec of 2000...I was pissed off.

Now, its our turn....nearly ours anyways...gatta wait till Nov....

13. It isn't so much rebranding the party as a whole...
...but tricking people into thinking that whatever crimes the Bush administration was involved in will disappear with a McCain administration.

And, more importantly any GOP candidate who runs or is elected has no connection the the Bush administration, which is why I always use the word "GOP" to describe them. No matter who they are, as far as I'm concerned the GOP party controls all their sleeper cells.

15. I also don't allow them to spin their...
..."isolated incidents" myth.

Everyone should know the national party formulates and pushes the agenda for every one of their members.

They brag about their party discipline only when it suits them and when it doesn't ask followers like Lynndie England.

18. Obama will use a White Sword to lance the GOP Infection that is strangling the Nation no end...
We have got to win in Nov...much depends on it...

The Pubs are anxious to rebrand themselves to stem the tide but the damage Bush/GOP has done is too much.....the Peeps can see Reality when it hits home...and that has happened...

The GOP is a dirty word...much worse than what they did to the Liberal name.....it has come full circle

We must press the attack/bet....take no quarter....

24. Seems like they have little choice...their creds/respect are in tatters
The GOP must rely on old tactics///like BS and Brainwashing....

Their Base support is now down to 12% or so...with pressure and more BS...it might creep up to 15%

Not enough to prevent a LANDSLIDE

and ya know the PUBs wish to avoid that..because if it does occur...the GOP will die a slow miserable death unless they change toward something more Benevolent/Altruistic....which means they will have to join US

25. 12-15% is their base (guaranteed votes)...
...however, what the GOP is hoping for is to use http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Appeal_to_fear#Fear.2C_uncertainty_and_doubt">FUD to confuse the undecideds.

A one-term presidency under Carter, followed by eight years of unbelievable (until now, anyway) damage to our country under St. Raygun.

9. If a Democrat wins the Presidency in November....
and the Congress goes big time Democratic, they should learn the lesson of what happened to Jimmy Carter and propose a new NEW DEAL.

Get this country back to work, off of oil, body-slam the corporations, enforce regulations, enact new ones with teeth, totally rollback the rightwing fascist boot of oppression....

your second sentence as describing the socialist boot of oppression. The state never goes barefoot.

I know you mean only the best, but my company has been getting body-slammed since 2000. The layoffs and lowered wages because of it are hurting the workers, not the real culprits, the bankers.

All it takes is one planned disaster by the republic party to wipe out what could be a good legacy.

I just don't trust them.

Some people have a stubbornly positive attitude. Well kudos to you, if you can see any good results from the Bush regime. You have a unique talent. :-)

23. What crap. A Gore presidency could have shown a record of
positive accomplishments that would have provided far better reasons to vote Democratic than the argument the the Cons are even more disgusting. Not to mention all the mass murders and devastation that anti-democratic selection has caused.
