3. I can never tell
whether they're blackmailing him, or he's blackmailing them. I know he lost a lot of money in the stock market this year, which probably means his retirement is far, far away. Goody goody gumdrops for us, bleh.

4. The trot out Cokie Roberts quite often as well.
They keep Pat and Cokie just off camera in their dirt filled vampire coffins until it's time to spew their vile screed.

6. And don't forget the ever-sighing, tipsy Peggy Noonan.
It's fun to watch her and play the "what'll she say next?" game.

5. He must be fulfilling his contract. Or maybe he gets paid for "piece work."
Maybe he is in a lot of debt and needs to work it off.

MSNBC knows we liberals love to hate him so they exploit our "love."

I'm one of the guilty parties. I tune in, get mad, and post a rant on DU. Others join in. We have quite a "Ain't it awful" party...

7. He has a contract. He's their "go-to" guy at the drop of a hat.
He is a salaried commentator.

You need to have a few people like that on retainer, in case the shit hits the fan on a moment's notice.

13. Poor Pat..
He probably gets up at 4 AM every day..
Dresses up in his nice suit
Heads for MSNBC

They probably have a little cubicle all set up for him

and every time someone says a code word, a light goes off, and he runs to the stage..

Pat's code words:

immigrant
alien
illegal
mexican
Nixon
Reagan
tax cuts

then at the end of the day he packs up his magazines & newspapers and heads home..

16. It's all showmanship, you know. He's not even a Republican.
He ran for President on the Reform Party ticket. He does know how to argue their platform persuasively, though, and most people don't even know the difference.

He's the Duty Rightwinger. It's a living. At least he's not out stealing hubcaps!

They do the same thing with the "military experts," some of whom are better than others. They've got them on retainer, just in case. Same deal with aviation experts, in case a plane goes down somewhere.

8. I've never seen him on Countdown
He used to be on Rachel Maddow but I think he finally realized she was making him look like a fool so he has pulled back. I never watch Tweety or morning joke or any of the newsbimbos so if he is on any of those shows I'm not aware of it.

Come to think of it I haven't had to listen to his high pitched screech or see his bad combover for probably six months. But I remember the part in his hair was creeping downward toward his ear. I'd like to see him in a high wind. Although maybe he keeps his hood on.

9. I love that Pat represents the GOP on MSNBC.
He's awful, racist, homophobic and Christian. He's the perfect example of everything that's wrong with the GOP. (Not that there's anything wrong with being Christian, but when you add in the other things, it paints a nasty picture.)

10. He lives there. He sleeps on a cot under Beady-eyed Joe's desk.
Meeka Mouse periodically tosses him scraps of food. Sometimes she even shares her vodka with him.
