5. what is the relationship of Premier to Clear Channel?
Edited on Sun May-03-09 09:27 AM by GregD
If you look at the legal agreements and statements at the bottom, it's all from Clear Channel. I take it CC owns Premier? Randi has been handled by Clear Channel previously, correct?

On edit:
ok, should have looked further - Premiere Radio Networks, Inc., a subsidiary of Clear Channel Communications, blah blah blah.

Am I correct that CC has syndicated Randi in the past when she was at AAR?

6. Randi was on WJNO-AM in West Palm Beach, FL.
That station is owned by Clear Channel. She had a good relationship with CC and her GM at that station was a good guy. They took care of her.

However she looked into syndication many times with Premiere and was shot-down by them. Supposedly, according to Randi, because Limbaugh said he would leave if they did it. Quite frankly I don't believe that. What would he care? She doesn't even compete with his timeslot.

7. I Believe It
He's a big fat pig who runs the republican party and yields a lot of power at CC. But that was then and this is now.

I'm sure many a CC stations are clamoring to have Randi back after such a long hiatus.

No doubt one of the biggie pig wigs at CC had to take him out to dinner and talk him down about Randi coming back. Wouldn't doubt that they threw a big bonus his way just to shut him up.
