1. Jesus never went anywhere. He was left behind by "the Saved" and we continue to kill him every day.

2. I think we'll have Senator Al by September/October
then after Bachmann is sent away to a "celebrity rehab" facility for her "exhaustion" (complete mental breakdown), Minnesotians(?) will react in force to elect TC the Bear (raging liberal)

5. Nah. TC the Bear is an outrageous flip-flopper.
Sometimes he shoots rolled-up T-shirts from an air bazooka into the left-field crowd, and sometimes into the right-field crowd. Well, TC? Which is it? Are you honestly courting the left, do you consider the right your base, or are you just a political whore willing to go along with whoever can cheer for you the loudest?

4. The seating of Al Franken will have nothing to do with 'the people,' nor should it.
The Senate cannot seat anyone who has not won their state election, per the 17th amendment. Candidates are not legally considered the winners of their elections until they have received from the state a Certificate of Election issued by the Secretary of State and signed by the Governor. By law, Minnesota cannot issue that certificate until any and all legal challenges to the election are settled. And the legal challenges will not be settled until the MN Supreme Court hears the cases and gives its final ruling, assuming that they're bright enough to not leave open any Federal questions. If they do, of course, then this trial will plod all the way through the Federal court system, and up to the United States Supreme Court--but legal scholars agreed there weren't any open Federal questions in the last court decision, so that shouldn't happen.

Anyway, this process is all unfolding according to the law. Nowhere in the chain of events is there room for the public to make its voice heard; judges are not and should not be subject to public pressure. (Now, if Pawlenty were to refuse to sign the certificate, that would be another matter, but...)
