....and FOX local news is pretty much straight down the middle, and gets a bit from each side.

Murdoch is no fool. He covers the waterfront. Who doesn't like the Simpsons and Family Guy, really? American Dad is a hoot--I actually know people like him, who had great jobs during GOP administrations!

People who think Murdoch really gives a shit about ideologies are painting him as an arch enemy of liberal thought because it makes it easier to dislike him on those terms. In actual fact, if there had been money in a liberal news network when Fox started up, he would have gone that way.

Here's what Murdoch gives a shit about:

--Legislators who will vote to enable passage of laws that aid him in growing his media empire.

--Money. And MORE money.

--Growing media influence around the world. Market share.

--Did I say MONEY????

He'd probably also like to be younger, but that's not happening.
