Erin Burnett on Morning Joke
Probably not much of a surprise, but she seems to have just outed herself as a flat-taxer. The subject was off-shore tax shelters and loopholes in the tax code. Of course, it's all legal and according to Erin, if we don't like it we should just institute a flat tax, as if that's the only alternative. Jeebus. Of course, Joe loved it.

2. Erin is very pretty...but that's not why she has a gig at GE-NBC
After all, that fat old meat salad guy works there, too. No, she works there because she toes the company line.

.

6. of course it is why she has the gig - but she is also intelligent
not that I agree with her all the time, but hard to argue with her intelligence.

But . . . she is there to balance out the appearance of the "fat old meat salad guy". Of course her looks are key to her getting that job.

8. I disagree with her "intelligence"
I've seen her many times on talk shows, and her knowledge of economics is really precarious.

3. I dislike Burnett, her arrogance turns me off.
She checks herself out on the TV monitors almost as much as Matthews does.

4. Her "pretty" facade belies her very unpleasant corporatist only
greedy nature... People are taken in by the facade...

7. I DON'T THINK JOE IS THINKING ABOUT FLAT TAXES WITH
ERIN. HE IS SO GAW GAW OVER HER. IT'S ENOUGH TO MAKE YOU SICK PEOPLE. SHE IS A PRETTY GIRL BUT REALLY NOT MUCH ELSE UPSTAIRS. HE IS ONLY INTERESTED IN GETTING IN HER PANTS.

9. 2 years ago, she also defended China's horrid business practices . . .
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=389x1612728

"I think people should be careful what they wish for on China. If China were to revalue its currency, or China is to start making, say, toys that don't have lead in them or food that isn't poisonous, their costs of production are going to go up, and that means prices at Wal-Mart here in the United States are going to go up too."

Ever the good little corporofascist newstrollop, aren't we? Don't you have pig's blood to pour on laid off workers?
