Sessions as Ranking Repub Member of SJC Will Undoubtedly Make It Must See TV...

There must be a virtual treasure trove of videotape of the Ala Senator spouting all manner of politically inconvenient comments over the years.

Having been turned down for confirmation to a Judicial appointment in the past, he will likely bring a lot of pent up hostility to the proceedings.

Plus he was one of the most outspoken Repubs claiming that Dems would 'rip the fabric' of the country if they tried to filibuster a Repub Nominee. Wonder if he still feels the same way now that the tables have been turned?

It is times like these in which the high hubris of Karl Rove and company rings in my ears claiming they were building a 'permanent Repub majority.'

2. Let's hope well-prepared Dems show up at the hearings with Sessions' past documented...

If Dems handle these hearings correctly there will be the opportunity to 'expose' Sessions before the TV cameras, since there is no justification for some of the comments Sessions made in the past regarding groups being 'unamerican' and racist comments he claims were jokes.
