Joy Behar would love to see Palin 2012 nomination, "a slam dunk for whoever is running against her"
(CNN) -- Comic and best-selling author Joy Behar appeared on CNN's "Larry King Live" Wednesday.

http://www.cnn.com/2009/SHOWBIZ/TV/05/06/lkl.joy.behar/index.html

King: Let's move to another politician, Sarah Palin. What's your read on the governor?

Behar: Well, you know, they're talking about her as the new Republican Party. If that's what they want for their new Republican Party, that's fine -- somebody who doesn't believe in a woman's choice, someone who doesn't believe in evolution, someone who is, you know, loves to hunt and kill animals or whatever. I don't know what her reasoning is.

Then fine. ... And doesn't really believe in global warming. She and Rush Limbaugh constantly are talking about how there's no problem.

King: Do you think Palin will be a presidential (candidate)? Do you think she's going to get up pretty close to getting that nomination?

Behar: Oh, I hope so. I would love to see that, because whoever is running against her, that's going to be, you know, a slam dunk, in my opinion. Because every time the woman is in an interview, she shows herself to be very, very shallow -- you know, as they say, stunningly superficial on another network. So, let her run. I hope she runs.

4. Tell me about it...
My husband is a die-hard Dem, but he absolutely insists that Palin must be the Republican Presidential nominee
in 2012.

We're from Iowa, so my hubby has made it his central mission to ensure that Palin in the winner of the Republican
caucuses--which he believes is the key to her securing the nomination.

He joined Palin's PAC and gave money and he's planning on holding a fundraiser for her---at our house!

I'm not sure I can get through this without hurling...

9. The only thing that makes me uneasy about having Palin as the nominee is that
no matter how stupid/shallow/whatever she is, I will never—NEVER—underestimate the stupidity of the American voter. Never. I'm not necessarily saying in this particular contest, but in general.

11. But Don't You Understand?
After the VP debate with Joe Biden, my wife and I were almost embarrassed for her, for the shellacking she took on the national stage. That evening and the next day, the media was LAUDING her performance, fawning over her, dismissing Biden and propping up Queen Sarah as if she'd torn Joe a new one. I live in North Georgia, and spoke to a dozen people who marvelled at the debate victory she had managed.

Folks, whatever glaring inadequacies this woman carries, she is being judged by a different standard. To belittle her abilities is to court disaster. Her vomited responses become gourmet fare for millions of pre-programmed voters...and the irresponsible media.

7. 'Very shallow' ... LOL ... Joy was being very generous there.

She probably really wanted to say "She's a real dipshit. Dumb as a box of hammers".
