1. Worse?
Have you seen the shit they sell at K-Mart with her name on it?

I'm just glad they don't have a "Shrub-ware" section.

2. I have some of her stuff. It's reasonably priced and lasts a long time.
Have you had problems with any of it? In fact, I have some shower curtains that have lasted about ten years (they're washable) and her sheets lasted better than most others I've owned, including some wildly overpriced Egyptian cotton ones I bought a couple of years ago.

18. Ditto that
I now swear by her products. After years of buying more expensive goods under the false notion that they would be of higher quality, I discovered that the cheaper goods from the Martha Stewart line last years longer. The bedding is especially good.

The number of lies that Bush/Cheney have told versus Martha's little lie.

They can lie all they want and there evidently are no consequences----hard not to be disillusioned.

Man, is that telling. Now I HAVE to see the documentary.

Now that I read the blog, it may not have been solely due to the dvd content. But...

13. Her appeal STILL not heard? Only half a billion involved...
Especially after the FBI guy who showed she must be lying was himself lying in courtrooms about how accurate his results were and is now fired.

Martha became so tired of the wait that she went to jail just to be done with it.

Yet, still no appeal heard.

Just as Don Siegleman how honest those Fed prosecutors are.

19. IIRC, this was not in the middle of an active election season, but right at the beginning
of one, and Martha was very active in doing fundraising for Democrats. It was obvious to anyone paying attention this case had political overtones.

20. yes.
lying about investments or about blow jobs is FAR more serious than crimes against humanity.

If the Obama administration fails to investigate the worst crimes on earth fully, how can we trust anything they say or do?

Coupled with the ongoing wholesale transfer of public wealth to already-rich private banking elites, I'm seriously questioning who Obama is and what his real mission is.
