Limbaugh, his $400 million contract, and his "screw you" to everyone else
Edited on Thu May-07-09 05:36 AM by Cyrano
Dittoheads are, by definition, brain dead. How else to explain their accepting Rush's attitude that they're worthless drek?

The other night at a GOP gathering, Limbaugh bragged about his $400 million dollar contract, told the audience that the economy was bad only if you believed it was, and was then loudly applauded by his "Let them eat cake" audience.

Did dittoheads see Rush's performance? I wonder how many of them are out of work and have no medical insurance? I wonder how many of them believe that a horrible economy is all in their mind?

What I find amazing is that they were insulted, spit on, and viewed as trash by Rush and his audience of millionaires. What further proof is needed that dittoheads are numb from the neck up? And that Republicans have no conscience?

2. I've never understood the reason for the ditto heads attraction to Rush.
Listening to a morbidly obese multimillionaire bitch about taxes for 3 hours a day has no appeal at all for me.

3. Still Don't Believe The Contract
I still believe it's so incenvtive laden with ratings goals he can't possibly attain, that he'll never actually make that much.

4. I had one of the unfortanate days of listening to Rush
Awhile back I was visiting a friend and another friend who I thought was a friend. We were sitting in the back yard and suddenly he turns to Rush. Friend A says to him "You listen to talk radio?" then said something like 'how boring'. "Friend" B says this is the stuff you should be listening too. I was caught off guard and had racing thoughts but decided to keep my cool. He later started giving a lecture on "Liberal" Obama by saying he just wants to give money to the poor while McCain wants to help the middle class. I was screaming inside! How badly can you be misinformed. Then gave this lecture on giving money to the rich people because it is 'common sense', you have more money, you can hire more people, and make more money, then went on this repeated tirade. Have more, make more, have more, make me, etc. then I blew up yeah that worked real well for the last 8 years. 3 tax cuts that overwhemingly benefit the rich and corporations that are actually overseas employing people and then went on to say Obama's tax cut actually targets the middle class. He responded by saying "You are one of those Obama people, aren't you?" I said "Yes. I already voted for him(absentee before the election). Then left. My details are a little sketchy as I can't quite remember the dialogue.

However there was one funny thing Rush said in his radio broadcast. He was talking about he went to a Kansas-Missouri rivalry football game. He said he went there to root for Missouri and then he seen someone flipping him off, upon closer examination it was a Missouri(team he is rooting for) fan flipping him off.

6. I think I read that his radio audience is somewhere around 20 million
Lying to yourself is one thing, but it's almost beyond comprehension that this many people can listen to the transparent crap he's peddling and buy into it. Then again, he's sticking with an old Madison Ave. adage -- "Sell the sizzle, not the steak."

I guess that for some human beings, there's no limit on the degree to which they can delude themselves into thinking that crap is fillet mignon.

7. When he croaks they'll weep and wail, as if he cared a whit about them
He couldn't care less about their problems, but they're too stupid to admit that.

9. It's OK, because he's a huge success in the business world.
From a Freeper prayer thread:

We pray for our education system. Chief brainwashers of the youth, they teach political ideology and manipulation rather than the very skills needed to be a success in the busines world. May the teacher's unions be changed radically for the better.

11. Rushbo is an Employee of the Carlyle Group
A year ago, Cheap Channel was taken over by Bain Capital...a subsidiary of the Carlyle Group. They're the ones paying Rushbo's drug bills. It sure enough isn't coming from his "performance" or that of his company that have seen revenues crater and the radio industry go to the edge of bankruptcy.

He can laugh about his big paycheck while the stations he's on go broke and go off the air. A lot of Rush's deal were in stocks...now worthless...and it won't mean much when Cheap Channel goes Chapter 7 and he's in line with all the other "creditors" to get what's left of the company (which won't be much).

Remember, rushpublicans are always promised that they, too, will be rich and powerful if they "toe the line". If they haven't...well that's their fault. Rushbo probably thinks he's an "example". I got mine. His horde think in "trickle down"...but instead of golden coins, Rushbo gives them golden showers.

12. He's a borderline personality with narcissistic tendencies
It's amazing how mentally ill people can rise to the top like shit in a toilet bowl. He's like Hitler, ranting and raving and using stupid stupid people to keep him on top, floating, stinking up the room, spreading his disease across the planet. I pray he gets what he deserves and I pray I live long enough to see it.
