Silently, i.e. I didn't gripe about it on DU because I didn't know what it was, but I knew I was really sick of hearing about Tweeting and all that shit...and then I was kinda drunk last night (Bruins/Celtics/Sox night) and woke up this morning with a Twitter account, so away we go.

I'm not sure my page will ever be worth a damn, but I have a shitload of others I'm "following," and it's pretty awesome: this new Mississippi River of data flowing through my PC and phone.

Yes. I suck.

9. Yes, that's what I like about it too.
anamariecox (appears on Rachel's show & started Wonkette) is pretty good, as well as Democracy_Now.

I've added some local (to me) bloggers who keep up with things locally better than the newspapers around here.

I swear, we stalkers never had it so easy. I've freed up my schedule so much I can stalk like 10, 15 people in the time it used to take me to do 3 or 4! :D

10. Be sure to use the search function and hashtags

to find what events/things people are tweeting about. To get an idea of that, just click on one of the "trending topics" on the right side of the page. Those are the hottest topics at any given time. Or you can search on any topic. (You may know this already, but it was a while before I figured it out.)
