Richard the Cold-hearted.

Richard Cheney, otherwise known as Dick, has been on a lollapalooza tour of the media in recent weeks. He is attempting to convince everyone that torture worked and that it was necessary and legal. It is unusual in that, for years, he was always hid away in a secret hiding place. No one could get access to him. Now, we can't seem to get rid of him.

One wonders if he is trying to convince us or himself? We cannot help but notice that Dubya has not spoken out on the issue at all? After all, he was the self-proclaimed "decider".

But, Richard the Cold-hearted, had chosen himself to be the VP for the unprincipled and naive George W Bush. Poppy Bush had advised his son to listen to Dick on foreign policy issues. He was the expert. So Dubya gave up his authority to Dick Cheney, and Dick used it to maximum effect. After all, he did not have to answer to anyone. He was not part of the Executive Branch and he was not part of the Legislative Branch. He said so himself...

Now, he has outright admitted his role in the torture of these prisoners. There is no doubt. He has confessed. With pride and admonition. It is up to our Justice Department to decide what to do with this admission.

That is why he is making so much noise.
He is being backed into a corner.
