Topless Model / Miss USA Alysha Castonguay: Prejean situation stems from her opinion, not photos

Miss USA -- Not All Topless Photos Are Equal

There's another reigning beauty queen who took some very topless photos before she won her pageant -- but unlike Carrie Prejean, Miss Rhode Island USA's crown was never ever in jeopardy.

According to Alysha Castonguay, she dropped her top for a Maxim magazine shoot and a few swimsuit calenders way before her competition -- but there was no controversy over the pics because they were all seen and approved by the Miss USA pageant officials.

But Alysha tells TMZ she feels for Miss Cali saying, "I personally believe this situation is stemming from the controversy over her opinion and not a photo."

The final decision on dethroning Carrie Prejean is still being deliberated by the Miss USA and Miss California officials.

Prejean lied to pageant officials that's one reason for the difference in treatment.

I am a Californian and I do NOT approve of the homophobic bigot Carrie Prejean rep'ing my state. I could not care less if she appeared in the nude on a milk carton or anywhere else. I just do NOT want that bigoted, brainless female benefitting from my tax dollars.

3. Prejean's problem comes from dishonesty and hypocrisy.

She wants others to follow her rules, but she doesn't want to follow anyone else's. If she had not lied on her contract, another contestant would have been chosen Miss California, and may have had the chance to become Miss America. Prejean's lies crushed the dreams of at least two other contestants (the one who would have been chosen Miss Cal, and the one who would have taken her place in the contest in the first place), and she used her illegally-gained position to try to crush the dreams of equality of thousands of couples.

She deserves to be removed, not because of her religious beliefs, but because of her hypocritical, selfish lies. Someone who wants to claim a higher morality--even if only by their standards--needs to actually live that morality, or they deserve no respect.

6. The difference is that Rhode Island officials knew beforehand about Miss Castonguay's photos.

The California officials had no knowledge of Prejean's photos.

Had she told them about the photos before the pageant, and they looked at them, and approved of them, there would have not been anything to them.
