Hospital Worker Who Sold Out Celebs Dies

Bizzare twist in the case of the hospital worker who sold medical records of Britney Spears and Farrah Fawcett to the tabloids ... she has died.

Lawanda Jackson pled guilty in December to violating the federal medical privacy law. She was scheduled to be sentenced on Monday, but her lawyer notified the judge that his client died from breast cancer on March 24.

Jackson had worked for the hospital for 32 years before her arrest.

Not to excuse what she did. I work in the healthcare industry too, and understand how wrong it is to do what she did.

8. Yeah...it's funny.

It'd be one thing if the only reason people got deadly diseases and died from them was because they did things that were inconsiderate of others in a similar boat.

Too bad the universe doesn't work that neatly, most of the time. Instead, the rain falls on the just and the unjust.
