OK DUers, help me out. What does "in the heebee" mean?

I thought Obama did great and so did the comedian. I LOVED the line about Bohner being a man of color, just not any natural color! But I don't know what he meant by Steel being "in the heebee:.

24. A year ago I was in Northern Italy and found myself trying to explain
"in the hizzy" to an Italian whose English was pretty good. He was commenting on how difficult it was for him to understand Americans from the deep South and we got into black English. I suggested to him that it was like him (a Torinese) understanding a Sicilian.

29. We Norther Italians really dislike Sicilians....
Or I should say my grandparents, Toscani, sure did.

The Sicilians weren't really Italian, they said, and then they'd go on about Africa.... not nice.

But, the are not the same cultures. Not unlike Vermont and Alabama.

30. yeah, this guy was trying to tell me that all the Italians just LOVE Hillary and want her
to be president (this was a year ago)! I thought he was obnoxious because I detected a strain of racism in what he was saying...

12. Cramer is yesterday's news ............
There was a good discussion about comedy shows and politics on cspan before the dinner coverage began, and they mentioned the Cramer show in passing, mostly about process.

Beck is so nuts, the only thing you can do to upset him is to ignore him. Attention whore go insane when they're ignored, and I'd say FauxSnooze was perfectly ignored tonight, wouldn't you?

when President Obama referred to Boehner's tan as being "a color not found in nature'?

Well, he just stated the obvious - which is often the funniest thing to do - which is that Boehner's "tan" is so patently and blatantly false, it's a joke.

Which is (I'm guessing) Obama's dis at Michael Steele's messing up/mispronouncing phrases. The real word would be "hizzy", slang for house. Blame Snoop Dogg.
