What IS torture?

Inquiring minds want to know. Now that we know what isn't torture, thanks to Dick Cheney the self proclaimed expert on the subject, what exactly IS torture. What actions, specifically, constitute torture? OR...and this is a big OR.... is torture any kind of violence to another human being that DOESN'T WORK???

What the hell is going on here?

We have really lost our way, haven't we.

2. Watching Jerry Springer? Reading articles of prisoners whining about not getting ____ while we

work out in the 'free world', many folks working for shit wages, trying to get educated (with high educational costs), not to mention the cost of health care -- for which the prisoners get a lot of freebies we sure as fuck don't.

Having fun with words, I think we're all being tortured in one form or another. It never pays to be moral or to give a damn. Break the law, make it easy with golden parachutes or golden bars.
