I have not been water-boarded, but I am familiar with the procedure.

Prior to being wounded in the A Shau and having my ticket punched for Walter Reed AMC, I was recommended for Airborne Pathfinder training, which would have entailed undergoing the SERE course. Naturally, I attempted to familiarize myself with what I would face, and based with what I know about the procedure, I can guaran-fucking-tee that if you give me Dick Cheney, Sean Hannity, a wash cloth, five gallons of water and thirty minutes, I wil have BOTH of those bastards admit to kidnapping the Lindbergh baby, the Kennedy assassination, and fathering Octomom's kids.

It is torture, plain and simple.

I'd guess if you had a menacing look on your face, you'd be able to get them to crack before getting the rag wet.

I thought torturers wore ski masks and have often wondered why. It's not like the one being tortured is going to say something like, "Hey, pal! I'll remember you! Your ass is mine!"

So yes, they are full of shit and them some.

I also talked to survivors of the CA mess, some of whom still woke up at night from what was done (including the water torture) and I can guarantee still wake up at night

These faux patriots and faux heros don't know what they speak off and I am almost betting get a hard on when they think about it... sorry for the sexual reference but some of the folks I treated or talked to mentioned that some of the sick fucks who did it... spoke that way too.
