Having prisoners be naked, INDOORS.....

is sexual depravity, not "enhanced interrogation techniques." Perhaps if they were subjected to outdoor elements, some psychologist could say it contributed to the breakdown sought with "enhanced interrogation techniques."

Not so here.

Demanding the detainees be nude was sadistic (not to mention photos taken). And, IMHO, it was MEANT to inflame the Middle East and hatred toward the US -- it was most certainly NOT to keep us safe. Why else would it be so well documented, in various facilities? It wasn't "just a few bad apples" as they initially claimed.

AND IT WASN'T DONE TO KEEP AMERICA SAFE.

But that wasn't all.

The Bush Administration's policies, in essence, sanctioned rape and sodomy of women and children.

There have been several threads here recently reporting the comments of those who've seen the plethora of evidence, clearly saying "rape and murder" are shown.

Forget the word "torture"...forget the word "waterboarding."

THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION'S POLICIES LED TO SYSTEMIC RAPE AND SODOMY -- if not an actual command to do so -- AND THERE WAS NO TICKING TIME BOMB SCENARIO.

That's why Cheney and Company won't let go of the word "waterboarding."

But, even if there were a ticking bomb scenario, ask the torture apologists this:

Would you rape a 15-year-old boy to save your country?

Rush? Cheney? Hannity? O'Reilly? Would you encourage that in the name of patriotism?

(no need for snide remarks...we're all thinking the same thing at this point)

1. I don't see how outdoors or indoors would matter at all
Both are horribly fucked up, and it needs to be revealed. All of it.

2. From what I remember reading... It was freezing in those cells.
They shackled some of the prisoners across open windows.

3. And, if it was outside, they'd be in blazing heat and shackled in view outside
Both are equally horrible.

4. They torture American prisoners too. Which nobody seems to care about.

Who do you think they've been practicing on?

8. I guess you're right...
Twelve years ago, a guy was brutalized by some New York cops (not the military) that were subsequently found guilty and sentenced to 15 - 30 years in prison...

The problem sounds pretty widespread to me!

9. It was very deliberate and based on a book
that detailed ways to break muslim detainees, based on their cultural background.

The use of dogs or pictures of a heap of naked men were no freak occurences.
